if you ever hear the names: amway, visalus, nu skin…..RUN!
these past 3 months i have been bombarded by invitations to meet at hotels for an introduction to various products/marketing plan/moneymaker…all i can say is, RUN! no matter how good it sounds it’s a muthertruckin pyramid scheme…i got suckered into going to a “meeting” which turned out to be a cray cray praise and worship of a miracle shake that will make you skinny and rich all in one week….oh not to mention, you will be driving a beamer at the same time…
tell tale signs that your ass is headed for bamboozlement:
- the person asks you to meet at some hotel conference room
- they rave about some life changing experience
- they utter words like “it pays for itself”
- monetary investment from you own pocket
- required referrals (ie. minimum of 3 referrals, and you get some shit for free along with a fat check)
- you get titles for the different levels of achievement (chief, masterchief, etc)
these are just to name a few…point is, you will know once you see the batshit crazy percolating through the walls of some holiday inn
